Another busy weekend

Yet another busy weekend, with two events !

First up was a Chelmsford MC 12 car, this time over the border into Suffolk. Some new lanes and a move to the Novice class for Suze (nav) meant a new night for us. The nav worked well and we hd a good run apart from mising just one PC board. This netted us a 5th overal and 2nd in class. A good run for Suze on her first event withh true plot 'n bash navigation.
for this event i had to borrow the Wife's rally car (the Micra) as i still haven't been able to fix the Rover rally car. The Micra stood up well the abuse and it was a good fun night out.

Onto Sunday and back out in the Micra and out of Essex again, this time to Kent. For the second Car Trial of the year and the first of the ASEMC championship we are both doing. This event allows us to both drive and passenger for each other. The day started off very wet and muddy, but with some good weather the field soon dried out. This meant the hills got trickier and tougher. With some good luck at the end of quite a long day I managed to take the class win in the Road rally class in the National B event. It was my first national B car trial, and it was good to get some good championship points. Suze took 2nd in the class, so it was a successful weekend again !

Here we are on one of the more trickier hills :-

Here is a chance to see the sump guard ! :-
