Britvic Rally

Well that was a tough one !
Very very slippery everywhere, I'm sure someone told me that the sportways were better in the mud than the Firestones...... can't say i noticed !

Many many thanks to all the marshals, braving a wet and cold day for us to have fun. Extra thanks to the marshals who rescued my bumper. I can now say I'm a member of the ' I've lost my Rover rear bunmper' clan

Thanks to Chris Bowden for telling me where to go, we had good fun, and stayed top 5 all day

The new front springs were great and made the car sooooo much better on the rough stuff

BIG thanks to Richard Atherton for loaning us his spare PAS belt, would have been very hard work without that. Also BIG thanks to Owen & Andrew for their help on working on the car and spotting the belts i had were too small

All in all a very tough day, loads of work to do the cars ! Lost a mirror, wiper blade (thanks Suze for letting me steal your rear wiper blade ) possible fuel leak, leaking exhaust, rear bumper to replace, wheel arch liner to replace & mud flap, window film ruined by the mud and that's before looking at the car !!!!!

See http://chelmsfordmc.co.uk/Endurance for results - 5th Overall :)

Details about Goodwood stages were we finished 29th overall and 4th in class, will follow last week was rather busy prepping two rally cars !

Plus to wash the car, i don't think its every deen this muddy !!! I've done the Preston and finished with cleaner cars
